Are Stocks' Days Numbered?

The New York Stock Exchange said Wednesday that its volume of trading in U.S. stocks fell 24% in one year. The Investment Company Institute said on the same day that investors yanked $4.7 billion from mutual funds that invest in stocks. In one week.
