Swift's global head of securities and CEO in the Americas, Chris Church, has been added to the board of XBRL US. Church, who joined the interbank messaging cooperative in August from Radianz, said, "the work XBRL US does in facilitating the reporting of public company filings, combined with Swift's expertise and presence in the financial sector, will substantially increase automation in activities such as corporate actions, financial disclosure filings and accounting reports." A branch of non-profit XBRL International, XBRL US is responsible for the extensible business reporting language taxonomies and promoting adoption of the standard in the U.S.
