Hudson Fiber Network Expands Toronto Presence
February 22, 2010
Hudson Fiber Network, a Paramus, N.J.-based networking solutions provider, is adding two new locations in Toronto, the company said this morning.
The two additional sites, 151 Front and 100 Wellington Streets, will feature Hudson’s X-Change Connect solution providing speeds from 10M to 40G and connect customers to financial markets in New York, Chicago and New Jersey.
As part of its Metro Ethernet offering, Hudson Fiber Network’s X-Change Connect offers financial services companies the lowest levels of latency across the shortest distance fiber routes, according to Hudson, noting that its microsecond Service Level Agreements (SLAs) enable customers to provide a single point of connectivity for trading firms in the equity markets. Due to its strategic partnerships with top colocation providers, Hudson Fiber Network’s X-Change Connect is being deployed to the major metropolitan exchanges throughout North America.
“We understand our customers’ need for instantaneous, uninterrupted information — a competitive advantage in today’s trading market,” said Brett Diamond, president of Hudson Fiber Network. “In addition to low latency, financial services customers are seeking global reach to the top financial markets. Our expansion into Toronto allows customers to connect to the major exchanges in New York, New Jersey, Chicago, London and Asia.”
Hudson owns its fiber network, which delivers IP and network services in and among U.S. metro markets and around the globe.
