Misys, which develops application software and services,  and Numerix, which provides analytical software the valuing of derivatives and to manage risks, said the expanded agreement provides new and existing Misys customers with more ways of accessing and using Numerix pricing, analytics and risk management products for over-the-counter derivatives and and structured products.

Customers will now be able to purchase the integrated solutions directly from Misys, streamlining vendor and system complexity, the companies said.

“We can now further expand the range of models and instruments available to clients and provide real value to the derivatives and structured products industry,” said Larry Mitchell, vice president of Solutions Management, for Misys Treasury & Capital Markets.

As a result, professionals and users of Misys' Summit FT software can use Numerix Portfolio and Numerix CrossAsset XL for pre-trade analysis, trade capture, pricing and risk management of any OTC derivative and structured product.

Summit FT users can export deal definitions and pricing inputs for any trade into a Numerix XML file that is both machine - and human - readable.
