EXECUTIVE MOVES: Instinet, Mantara,Trading Cross Connects, Netik

Alison Crosthwait has been named director of global trading research at Instinet. Crosthwait will lead the firm's effort in publishing global market microstructure research and other value added content.
Ms. Crosthwait joins from ITG Canada, where she served as its head of research. Before that, Ms. Crosthwait was a program trader at ITG, primarily covering quantitative investment firms. She also held various roles in Goldman Sachs' high frequency trading group and on Credit Suisse's program trading desk.
Ms. Crosthwait will report to John Comerford, Instinet’s head of global trading research.

Michael Chin has been named president and chief executive officer of Mantara, a supplier of technology for for high-frequency trading.
Chin will be responsible for driving the company's business strategy, execution and overall performanc. Dr. David Gilbert, who has led the company through its development and initial growth, will become executive chairman.
Chin spent nine years in executive management positions at TradingScreen and most recently served as president and global head of sales and a member of the company's board of directors. During his tenure at TradingScreen, Chin built and oversaw the company's global sales, marketing and client services functions.
Prior to joining TradingScreen, Chin spent 13 years at JP Morgan.

Atrey Parikh has joined the technology staff Trading Cross Connects, an incubator of high frequency algorithmic trading teams.
Parikh will be responsible for the planning, design, implementation and support of TXC's network infrastructure. Before joining TXC, Parikh was a Senior Network Engineer at Morgan Stanley where his responsibilities included design and deployment of enterprise network services for Morgan Stanley's Institutional Securities, Global Wealth Management and Asset Management groups.
Parikh will be based in Jersey City, N.J., and will report to Gray Lorig, TXC's Chief Information Officer.

Brian Lott has been promoted to head of product management at Netik, a provider of financial data management services and products.
Lott will assume responsibility for all strategic product direction relating to market, client and stakeholder needs and brings 30 plus years experience of front, middle and back office to his new post.
Lott will sit on Netik's executive management team and report to chief executive Rob Flatley.
