July’s 10 Worst-Performing S&P 500 Stocks

 July means fireworks, summer vacations and, historically, very languid and often negative trading for stocks across all sectors.

But that wasn’t really the case in July this time around. As a group, the S&P 500 advanced 1.3% (17.16 points) for the month – down from a 4% surge in June – to close at 1,379.32.
