Clearing of Credit Default Swaps Gets CFTC, SEC Attention

As part of the followup to the Dodd-Reform Wall Street Reform Act, the SEC and CFTC next Friday will hold a public roundtable to discuss how to implement clearing of credit default swaps. Unregulated swaps played a pivotal role in the credit crisis.
