EXECUTIVE KALEIDOSCOPE:
Barclays, Knight Make Changes at the Top

Barclays, scalded by the settlement of its case involving manipulation of a key interest rate benchmark, named Antony Jenkins its chief executive.

He succeeds Robert Diamond, the best-paid executive in the United Kingdom, who left under pressure.

Knight Capital, which nearly went under this month in the wake of a 45-minute excursion into self-destruction with a flood of erroneous stock orders, named three high-level executives to its board of directors.

They include lawyer and diplomat Matthew Nimetz, TD Ameritrade chief executive Fred Tomcyzk and youthful Blackstone Group managing director Martin Brand.
