Post-Trade Matching Gets Dash of Customization
October 5, 2012
Lightspeed Data Solutions released Friday a version of its flagship post-trade management product that changes what a buyside user sees into a dashboard of most-frequently used functions.
Asset managers using the fifth version of its TDMS Enterprise software will get a dashboard on their home screens that they will be able to populate with “widgets” that provide access to features they use most often to match, repair and affirm trades, as well as send or receive notifications.
The updated product also includes a “Repair and Resolution Wizard,’’ for dealing with discrepancies; hyperlinks to related, relevant information such as account numbers that appear on pop-up screens; and a search window that responds to keystrokes as they are entered, to reduce the time that a user takes to pull up an available command or option.
The latest version took 18 months to develop, Lightspeed said, keying off of direct observation of how users worked with its existing product.
This is our biggest update since we launched our software-as-a-service-model two years ago and continues our commitment to transforming the buy-side back-office,’’ said Marvin Sauer, president of Lightspeed.
